Here is a teaser trailer:
Going against what I said in my WGZ retirement post, I've decided to speed up my time line for launching a new text-based strategy & war gaming community.
On March 1st the gates will open at Promisense.com. What people will find there is the most advanced and feature-packed text-based gaming site on the web.
At the core of the experience will be a new fantasy-based game called Promisense. Not to be mistaken with Promisance, it's development road map will see it become truly one of the most modern and down right fun multiplayer strategy experiences found on the web.
The game & the name itself derrive from Promisance. But I felt that what this represented was too good, wholesome, and advanced to be mixed in and generalized along with the below average Promisance communities out there. The game and community needed a new name, but one that stayed true to its roots because the game does that in essence also.
So after much thinking and debate, I simply spliced together Promisance + common sense & got to the chosen name Promisense. Looking back, to me it is by far the best representation as to what the community and game will be all about. We're going to be sticking to core Promisance fundamentals, but at the same time making changes and advancements in the entire scope of the community using good ol' common sense.
WGZ players familiar with the MyWGZ system I created will feel already familiarized with the Promisense site. I don't want to give away too much detail, but if you recall the step from MyWGZ 1.0 to MyWGz 2.0, you're going to be experiencing that same sort of advancement in terms of features and quality of the overall experience. To put it simply, it kicks all kinds of ass and nothing out there will even come close to matching up to it.
Sadly, that's all I'm going to be sharing about the site. Right now it's on a tight lock down for alpha testers only, but March 1st will mark the first day of a month long beta test period. When April comes, the ball will get rollin' for real and I'm going to be launching a large marketing campaign for the community.
Stay tuned here for more updates! So until next blog post, ciao.
